I get that Fetterman’s a lost cause, but I genuinely don’t understand how the rest of the Dems who are leaning “yes” on cloture can see the GOP preemptively celebrating the CR’s passage and not understand what a colossal fuckup letting it go through will be.
I wanted them to vote now, but realized if they do Trump and musk can just clean out government agencies without any repercussions if they vote for the CR this can’t happen
Except that a) they’re already doing that, and b) they’ve explicitly said they’ll continue impounding any funding they don’t like anyway, CR or no, allowing it to pass doesn’t actually accomplish anything
Right now your only job is to obstruct the Republican agenda! They want the dirty CR, not a shutdown! The *FEDERAL WORKERS FACING FURLOUGH* are begging you to let it shut down rather than pass the CR. How could the right course of action here possibly be any clearer?
