Yeah, that happens to me every time I'm impatient and remove the top stopper before the pressure cooker's cooled down.

Steam explosions vary drastically on damage. They can range from superheated steam bathing every person in skin melting gas, to locomotives turning Eldritch horror and throwing shrapnel.

The spray of superheated food product on my ceiling of the kitchen begs the question "What SHOULD we call this then?" Food explosion is a mess no matter what direction it flies in. May not include metal shrapnel, but still, very much an explosive mess. #LearnedTheHardWay #PressureCookerFauxPas
