lol When my brother and I moved west, we had a friend in’87 that opened a Subway franchise in Chicago. He gave us a stack of old Subway Club punch cards fully stamped. There was one subway in the town we moved to, and they were like “damn, you guys sure did eat some Subway back at home”.

Those are the homies! I had a friend in junior high whose parents owned a deli. They closed at like 4pm and he'd use his key to feed our friend group in the evenings.

We had moved to a ski town, and I was a bartender. The barter system was alive and well. We were broke, but we always had something to eat and drink! Take care of each other, whenever we can.

I was a driver/assistant manager for a pizza place back in the day. On Fridays we used to trade team meals with other restaurants.
