Most of my family has gone down that hole to the point of no return. They are so brainwashed from a constant steam of far-right podcasts and religious extremism that we can barely have a conversation anymore. They couldn't be happier about what trump and elon are doing.

I'm sorry about your mom. I truly believe both of my parents will die before ever seeing things differently. They're in their late 70s and have health problems, and they won't change. My sister and I have been trying to explain to her that he is hurting us directly by targeting federal employees
(she is currently one), and education (my husband is a history professor and we have a young child in the public school system), she does not care. Her attitude is 100% this is for the greater good. It is hard when parents lose touch with reality.

In Nov of 23 I pretty much didn't see her except for on her 89th bday.She died in August.Murdoch has murdered so many seniors.She watched those liars 24/7 lived in HUD housing hating the libs 🤦🏼🥲
I've barely spoken to my mom since trump's first term. This past few months have been the worst. My dad fully supports trump, but at least I can have a civil conversation with him. All of the hard-right media is to blame, but much if it started with Murdoch. He needs to go.
