That would work. I am sure most congress people and senators could get volunteers who would be willing to do that. Why not? I think your response was intended to be snarky, but it is very important

When they want money the DNC does a great job activating volunteers. Let’s see them use their connections to save democracy. Many of us will step up but we need a united message & a coordinated national effort - that’s why we have the DNC & elected officials.
