Bearden was a pitcher for the 1948 World Series champion Cleveland Indians. He was later the station manager at KFFA radio in Helena & a youth baseball coach there, where’s there’s a baseball field still named for him. I knew some who’d been coached by Bearden in Helena. (1960s)
