Due to unpopular demand I have decided to reshare this classic album cover featuring the Brown family from Fort Smith, Arkansas praying around the waterbed in their 1970s steakhouse- looking master bedroom.

It’s a family praying around a waterbed in a barn-themed room

I have tried to google the sons to learn what prisons they are in, but Brown is a common surname.

My Google-Fu is coming up empty. I couldn't even find out anything about this guy. There was a J.L. Brown, a pastor, who died in 1938, but no indication that he was ever in Fort Smith.

I was going to ask if that is a bed...in a barn?

The scene on the front cover was taken at the foot of our bed in our bedroom where Connie, Jared, Jason and I have knelt many times to pray. There is only 13 months difference in Jared and Jason's age. When they were babies, we had both their baby beds in our bedroom so we started having prayer in the bed room with them, that's how our bedroom became our prayer closet. The wall behind us was made from lumber taken from a 100 year old smoke house, that we brought from our place in Colorado.

Could this be any more "70s"? Could this be any more "Brown Family needed an album cover advisor"? Could this be any more "a reality show that no one wants to watch"?

I believe that “praying around the waterbed” was a popular practice back in the 70s… just not for the same outcomes the Browns might be going for.
