I'm so poor (on SSDI) that I have Medicaid to pay for my Medicare, yet I have to pay $60 (trimonthly) out of pocket for one of my most significant medications because it's compounded and neither Medicaid nor Medicare cover compounded meds for some reason. It might not seem like much but...

...it's a lot when you receive literally the equivalent of federal minimum wage just because of an unfortunate accident outside your control that left you permanently disabled. I would gladly work what I'm able to work but finding a job with my restrictions is just about impossible.

We need universal healthcare. Disabled people have enough to contend with. You don’t need this extra stress.

They like to screw with our meds and treatments all the time too. Anything to save a buck. They cause serious harm and setbacks in progress all the time because they care more about a few bucks than people's lives. It's all horseshit.
