the point isn't "he has done no wrong" it's "this guy made public support of trans kids in his state a vocal part of his admin and repeatedly vetoed anti LGBT bills and is still the second most popular governor in the US as a dem in a red state". perhaps the DNC should make a note of that.
In *Kentucky*, yeah. But It's very different from what you have you have to cede in *California.* And I'd argue that Newsom's willingness to consider cedeing these points in a place where *he doesn't need to* is what's causing so many on here to be suspicious of Newsom.
