Well maybe they need to censor the scenes where Lot’s daughters became pregnant with Moab and Ben-ami. That’s problematic to say the least. Between Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 and Huxley’s 1984, the times we are in have been foretold. So this is why I plead with all my soul, God please help us.

Yep. Only one dude had immaculate conception. For the rest of us it was the sloppy kind. Not every Christian is an uptight fundamentalist

I know highly intelligent people who believe that somehow the Big Bang just happened all by itself. My take? Universe works too well, and beautifully, to be cosmic accident. Who among us doesn’t use a narrative in attempt to make sense of this amazing, frightening and beautiful universe?

Do you murder what you refer to as love every Sunday, then eat the flesh and drink the blood in celebration of the murder of the one you feast upon? Christians do. And don’t question it. It’s evil. Blatant. Obvious. Not to the cult.

It turned out to be problematic for them. They were destroyed in a horrific way for adopting foreign gods. The story is a metaphor - the prostitute sisters are a type for Israel who lusted after the power and riches of the Assyrians (represented by the outsized genitals).

“Christian” - “little Christs”; it’s taking on that name, hopefully not in vain. Understanding the Hebrew Bible with context and history isn’t necessary, but an enhancement.
