I'd prefer if he was not like that but given I think that fairly describes Biden I doubt it would be worse. To some extent I think wokeness involves not being hilariously corrupt but I see your broader point. If "woke" trump is gavin newsom then defs not.

No no - Obrador. And I would 100% vote for a "fuck the rules build me this railway immediately by any means necessary" candidate at least once, just to experience some speedy forward progress at least once in my lifetime. Especially if in the next election we can choose a Sheinbaum. 😍
