I really wish I could come up with good game ideas but unfortunately my brain is like "game about sourdough bread, is this anything?"

Time to make a starter
I mean, a roguelike where you have to keep your sourdough starter alive long enough for it to be come The Mother Dough... that could be something

call it DoughTA 2
multiplayer online bread arena
"play it once during the height of the pandemic and then kinda never go back to it"
Just now remembering I Am Bread exists lol
idk I feel like thats a good place to start
I have the opposite problem. I think of a game idea and then I'm like "I have no idea what to do with this" so it goes in the bin
post 'em! let talented people steal 'em! we might get good games (selfish request)
One I would love to make is a farming/automation game. You start farming on the edge of a forest. Everyone thinks it's haunted and inhabited by monsters. Turns out, that's but actually the case. Sure to the neglect, the resident goddess has lost her powers. As you restore the goddess' powers
And unlock more of the forest, spirits that reside will come help with farming activities. As the monsters inside? They were just desperate animals with a dwindling food chain. Also the forest has four distinct sections, one for every season
setting + noun verb diagram = game loop, you can absolutely get gold out of sourdough! the key to you feeling like it’s a good game idea is just formally closing that loop imo
Inspo from Bourdain’s Kitchen Confidential: “Feed the bitch!!! Feed the bitch or she’ll die!!!”
Were you reading [redacted] narrative at Bourke Street Bakery :P
No but that's a great idea!!
