I never understood that. Have you seen the photos of him at the beach year or two after this movie was made? Bulking up for a super hero movie is one thing but he looks so much better when he was properly hydrated.

The photo in question. Turns out was in 2012 so He was likely bulked up for this movie but sense he wasn't dehydrated himself yet. He look so much better then he does in the movie.

Then just do what they did for 300 and use make up to make the muscle look extremely defined. No one's going to notice.

Like yea sure they still had to go threw a crazy gym routine no doubt. But to make there bodys have that shreded comic book greek god look. You can see on the abs. That's fake shadowing to make there body's look extremely defined.

even chris hemsworth talked in an interview about how he hated having a 6 pack because of what it took to maintain it, like, once you got there, it only lasted a few days unless you kept up the routine.
