Oh no! I’m so very sorry. I have lived in pain for 40 years. I had my first surgery in 2005, it helped some but the damage was done. In 2013 neck surgery, 2016 another neck surgery. My neck is fixed. 4 fused disk. But T-10 & T-11 are compressed. Without my pain meds I would be drinking too. 🙏🏻😔💔
Yes you certainly do. I’m sorry you are in my club. Keep moving. I’m still working. Somedays I strap on my portable TENS unit just to keep from crying. I’ve rigged up an ice pack holder that straps to my chair. I turn 66 tomorrow. Trying to hold on to my full retirement age.
I’ve also used acupuncture to help with spasms and pain. A good acupuncturist can make a difference. Also THC gummies before bed.
Looking into them as soon as I’m not working for federally regulated bank.

I’ll be 67 in April. This was December 2017. Long story but was the result of a Drs arrogance and an error that almost killed me. Learned to walk again and I do keep moving. My pup Cooper keeps me going every morning at least 1.5 miles. Cooper on one side my trusty cane on the other.
Dammit! I hate to hear this about Lorenzo. The VA needs to get their heads out of their asses and help straighten out this damn mess. No excuses. Main reason veterans turn to outside drug use because of the insufficient care they receive when it comes to pain management. Stay strong my brother! ✊🏽

This is my fear. I’m on Medicare and Tricare. If they take my pain meds I’ll be like Lorenzo. The government knows that without their help no one can afford to pay out of pocket. Damn tDump and RFKJr to hell.
I can't continue to talk to him because it seems like he's kinda mean when he drinks. He needs to find help before I come back around.
Yup! Chronic drinkers do tend to get mean and lose inhibition and relation to others, especially when confronted. He needs some help ASAP!
I just hope he doesn't have to get locked up.
I hope he doesn’t either. But if it does come down to that, it may just result in him getting the help he needs…or, it could make matters worse.
Eventually intervention will come. I have faith.

I think we definitely need to remain positive. I'd miss him too. Heck, he sent me sleep meds once. Never doubt your true friends.
I understand exactly what he's going through. Alot of military are struggling too!! But, he can't quit and let them win. Soldiers have to keep fighting.🙏
I know exactly what he's going through. But giving up let's them win. I had waited 4+ years to have my hand surgery. Now I'm dealing with something else that's gone on for 5 years. Checking out is not an answer. We were soldiers, and we fight. Contact your senators!! ❤️
Unfortunately he dug himself a hole he's unwilling to come out of. He has to be willing to take the help and suggestions. I don't think he really wants to hear he has a problem but he'll figure himself out if he decides to get sober.
True!! Alcohol isn't going to help him..he could go to ER, and get help too!!
