It’s also a bit unusual, I would think, that the cost for natural gas delivery in New Jersey is the same as or even higher than the actual natural gas delivered. Take a look at those PSE&G bills. I get there was an infrastructure upgrade, but wasn’t that already paid for with tax dollars?

Do you mean higher on ratepayer gas bills? This report references an electricity bill, which doesn’t include gas. Do you mean the delivery portion of a gas bill is sometimes higher than the supply portion?

My most recent PSE&G bill, for example, shows “total gas supply charges” of just under $6 and “total gas delivery charges” of a little over $21. In addition to electric charges.
