One of my friends couldn't use concert tickets tonight to Melissa Etheridge and Indigo Girls. 14 heard the word concert and wants to go with me. He really doesn't know what he's getting into but I've decided that he can learn this through experience. Meanwhile, the last time I saw Indigo Girls ⤵️

I saw them twice, first time was 92 I think. It was a great venue and a wonderful expoerience. For the encore they played Uncle John's Band for the first time. they were still new enough at it they broought out sheet music. (A year or so later their cover of that was on the Deadicated tribute CD.)

Having grown up in Atlanta and married 1st to a Lesbian Frat Boy Super Fan and now a music journalist, I have seen them more times than I can possibly count… And we saw Melissa Etheridge at the LL Bean free summer concerts last year or the year before…it should be a great show!!
Have a blast! I've seen both many times over the past 30+ years. Now I'm too old to deal with the crowds.

That's a good first concert. My eldest daughters first concert was gonna be some EDM concert. I said no way. I took her to see Dave Matthews Band.
