Might have to take a cycle up to FLO and grab a straight flattener for my triplet to use the full 600mm and try out a galaxy.

M51 or M81? Either should be ok at 600mm I think. I’m glad I don’t live within cycling distance of FLO - the temptation would be far to great 😂

really odd pattern, just screen grabbed and saved in paint and reposted and it's ok, maybe BSky doesn't like greyscale jpegs.

I just grabbed both images, did a Seti Astro statistical stretch on each and then differenced in PixInsight. No obvious pattern - mostly minor differences to be expected. I wonder if it's the screen display settings?
