Ok AstroFam, just tried adding some Ha to my LRGB Bodes data and wondering if anyone has any good workflow tips for adding it. Just seems kinda saturated a little too much but don't want to dial the Ha down too much. #Astrophotography #Touptek #Skywatcher #Astronomy
Looks decent to me! I just finished a LRGB+Ha project of M81 myself and my Ha looks pretty similar to yours. I did a Continuum Subtraction on the Ha using a PixInsight script and added it using a PixelMath expression.
Ah yes. Forgot about that and I'd only just watched a SA video on that too.
I tried several scripts for continuum subtraction but finally used this one because it worked best for me and seemed to be the most sophisticated and mathematically accurate one. The PixelMath expression is described here too. Hope this helps! nightphotons.com/software/pho...
