I think they will do what they always do: make up some weird-ass excuse for why it didn't happen then and announce with the certainty of the truly insane a new date for their prophecy. They never say they were wrong.

Christian nationalists have created their own HELL and demise. They can thump their fictional book all they want but IT WILL NOT change freedom of religion nor speech. IMO, too many Christians are total hypocrites and dont follow what their book says because of their greed for power, control, money.
White Evangelicals worship Mammon primarily, in my direct, personal experience. They are far more concerned with the current fq than what Jesus may or may not do or want.

You're making an ontological claim about a category that is really just a label. It's better, I think, to look at the teachings of the original text and evaluate using the internal criteria that it suggests. Christians, IOW, should strive to follow the principles that they claim to follow.
Yes. Hence the “learn more about your hateful religion” part. Christianity is awful and the Bible can be used to justify any behavior.
Human beings tend to corrupt any source text. That's not the Bible's fault. You might learn more about human nature since you are willing, apparently, to assign no moral responsibility to individual actors or cultures and all culpability to a label category you are in charge of applying.
The source text is bad itself. It was written by humans. Who else?
