We don't know what they psoted, they could have very well be direcitng people here, but given that we both dont know twitter doesnt let me check without an account, theres also the fact that Bsky is still not the mainstream app and they are public person. still, time and place, man.
once again i hate twitter as much as the next guy, jsut dont think you should go "why are you there tho" to "my personal information was leaked"
The point is, the risk of engaging adversarially on such a website without proper caution carries a high risk of this happening. It’s an unfortunate reality. Once can argue that it’s wrong, one can say that authorities should fix. But in the real world this was to be expected unfortunately
I see where you coming from and I agree to a degree, but we all could benefit from a compassion to one another when this happens. Especially for trans folks, like OP.
Yeah, it’s certainly true that being tactful/empathetic is important. I think for many people this is used as an opportunity to try to educate, but tact and timing is important
