Stop laundering Newsom's reputation. His attitude and actions towards the homeless make him unfit for office. We don't have to commit to a fucking jerk three years out.

Those "reasons" being "I'm not American" (though my wife is, and I would have). But the point is, Newsom may be an effective attack dog against the GOP, but he's a bad fucking person (anti-homeless, platforming fascists on his podcast) and should not be in the conversation about 2028. Choose better.

For what it’s worth, I’m not American either, but I have a vested interest in the world that this moron is on track to completely destroy. So, in the short term it’s a case of anything but the current administration.

No, mate, the next election is three years away. We don't have to fall over ourselves to congratulate and pre-approve a bad person who happens to be good at annoying the right-wingers. There's no need to settle for "anyone but Trump or Vance" with this much lead time.

Newsom would be better in the position that Buttigieg has played recently - snarky attack mouthpiece. He'd be a terrible candidate countrywide. He's not even very popular in CA.
