This quote has been rattling around in my head since the election. This guilty land, indeed.

As someone with a history degree who has a long time obsession with studying revolutions, national collapses and the deterioration of empires I have never been under the illusion that American authoritarianism in its present form can be eliminated without blood shed. These people are true believers
I am at the point where we seek outside assistance. Cartels, Chinese, taliban, isis, don’t care anyone but these motherfuckers.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend is NOT a good strategy long term. If it goes sideways into civil war other countries might be of assistance especially if we control the east and west coasts.
However there is no justice, so therefore there is no peace.
Agreed. But we are running out of options. Do me, after 5 tours in Afghanistan and Iraqi I don’t relish the thought. But we are quickly losing all semblance of our country. Especially with the election interference plans. They know if they lose they are doomed.
As we saw 4 years ago, even if you defeat them electorally, they will remain and fester and grow like a cancer..
They should have taken away all the land that the members of the confederacy owned when they seceded from the United States of America. Then given all that land to the slaves that worked the land. And let the former owners work for them. We would not have this problem today if we did that.
Absolutely correct. If all the leaders of the confederacy had been executed or imprisoned for life and the assets of those who directly benefited from slavery taken away we most likely wouldn't be dealing with this bullshit today. Christian forgiveness means kicking the can down the road
They are need to be terminated. Every single one.
I think about this quote a lot lately.
