this is old news but i still can't get over a German mobile phone being called a 'handy'

Well... it does come in handy and in fits in my hand, sooo... yeah... 🤷♀️

I lived in Germany for most of the 90’s and when I worked in London I worked with a lot of Germans and I’m sure I embarrassed myself in front of fellow native English speakers by calling my mobile phone a “handy” on a few occasions! 😂
