And depending on their clientele, the mental healty workers are affected by the potential Medicaid/Medicare cuts. I work at a local CMH & the current fear is layoffs once the budget cuts start kicking in.

It's just so shitty. Most of the therapists/clinicians where I work could be making more in the private sector but chose to stay at CHM for a myriad of reasons, like job security/healthcare/to help under-served populations. Now they're potentially being punished for that.
