I don't think that's true at all. The "old boomers" I know--I am one--are out protesting in force. Of course, I'm in liberal Connecticut. I was struck, at the 1st "No Kings" demo, @ how many notably old (walking slowly, white/gray haired) folks showed up. Because they're less likely to beat us up! 👀
majority of boomers didn’t vote for trump this time around. i think a lot of people forget it was the boomers who opposed vietnam and marched for a woman’s right to choose. painting them all one way isn’t fair.

THANK YOU from a 71 year old boomer. We worked really hard back in the 60’s for equal rights and it breaks my heart to see we are reversing direction.
Unfortunately, I seem to know an awful lot who forget. I will say my experience at protests in Massachusetts have been the same as yours and have loved seeing it! Then I visit or talk to family in other states and I am saddened it isn't the same.
I’m fortunate in that my family Is fully liberal. And pretty much all of my friends. And my church community (UU). I only have one former in-law who is a devoted Trump fan. Fun fact: my ex’s grandmother was Trump’s kindergarten teacher about 75 years ago. She did not like him. A brat, even then!
