Not entirely the point of the thread, but this belonged to my grandmother.

The cover of the book “Passalong Plants” by Steve Bender and Felder Rushing. The cover is yellow and shows a small house in the background with a lawn bordered by a very long beds of irises, lilies, hydrangeas, etc. stretching toward the viewer. There’s also a small wheelbarrow and a shovel propped against it. The book was published by the University of North Carolina Press in 1993.

I took a class from Felder Rushing when I lived in Jackson, Miss. and still treasure my copy of Passalong Plants!

Oh I love that! What a great idea for a book. Although now I’m going to be sitting over here telling myself I don’t need that book because I don’t need more plants. (But who are we kidding because we all know I’m going to get both)

OMG THE CONFLUENCE OF A FAVORITE PODCASTER AND A FAVORITE AUTHOR TALKING AT EACH OTHER ON THE INTERNET and I am just a humble fangirl planting hostas and hydrangea against the world. This is tickling me endlessly.
