A person can only fire one gun at a time and not 50. At that point it has nothing to do with protection. If someone owns a ton of guns it's an obsession and a sickness.

I understand this. We need a happy medium instead of all or nothing solution. Guns are needed, even outside of hobby, home defense, animals, etc... but not for mass shootings of humans.
