Ooh, my first 'concert' was The Blue Brothers at the Universal Amphitheater. I was 13. They were recording a live album and you can hear me scream. I won tickets on the radio and took my bestie. We dressed as Jake and Elwood. My first real concert was Iron Maiden and the Scorpions when I was 15.

I saw Dokken open for Iron Maiden! I went to a lot of shows. Did not get to see The Scorpions live, but the record World Wide live lives in my library!πŸ”₯

I saw Styx, Tina Turner, Elton John, Neil Diamond, Reo Speedwagon, Queen, Asia, Air Supply, Heart, and some I can't quite remember. Growing up in a suburb of Denver we had a lot of concerts and they were easy to get to. Tina Turner and Queen were the best.

Tickets back in those days were about $15. For me working minimum wage about 4 hours work but worth every penny.

I was a music buyer for Tower Records L.A. in the mid 80's. Fortunately, I got to see (backstage/front row) EVERYONE. It was a wonderful job that left me meeting so many of my heroes. Crazy fabulous memories.
