Operation Warp Speed was a good thing. It is, in my opinion, the best thing the Trump administration did. Developing a working vaccine in such a short amount of time was and is genuinely amazing.

It could only be done because mRNA had been so thoroughly studied and was primed and ready to go technologically, though. And that kind of basic research has been gutted, so good luck in the future…

It's the least they could do, after banning masks and pretending there was no disease. The Chec Republic obliterated Covid in months, sheltering in place and wearing masks.
