We don't have healthcare we have sickcare. Our doctors are sponsored by the pharmaceutical, so they only know how to treat symptoms not the person.

Conflict of interest. They only make money when we are sick and addicted to pharmaceuticals.
That is for sure a true statement. I believe healthcare is one area that we could push and even members of MAGA to agree with us. Republicans are bought and sold based on corporate wealth…but healthcare care is something that universally needed and the lack of it felt
MAGA would agree with so many policies the democrats embrace if they didn't know the democrats embraced them. We desperately need universal healthcare, but I have absolutely no faith that it will happen in my lifetime. There's too much money involved.
The lack of universal healthcare costs are more and the voices supporting UHC it are growing, don’t lose hope instead be determined www.nationofchange.org/2024/12/11/6....
Thanks for the article. I'll try to be hopeful. It's tough when so many things the majority of Americans want are not the policies enacted.
I agree… but I would challenge you to think about if you fall into that same trap vice versa
That there may be MAGA policies that i support? Good question. What GOP policies might I embrace? Mass deportation: absolutely not Tarriffs: absolutely not Forced birth: absolutely not Tax cuts for the rich: no way Reduce or eliminate SSI and Medicare: nope
There's LOTS of conditions there is NO cure for. I have epilepsy. There is no cure for epilepsy. I NEED medications or I WILL die. Same thing for diabetics? Do genuinely believe people choose to take medications for fun? It's either take meds or die for MANY conditions.
Perhaps addicted to pharmaceuticals is the wrong wording. I was only thinking of the opioid crisis.
My husband is diabetic taking lots of meds. It is not fun. I hear you. Meds are way too expensive. Pharmaceutical companies make record profits off of them. You should have the meds you desperately need to live without those companies making that kind of profit.
Unfortunately a lot of hoops have to be jumped through to not die for a lot of people. There's no way I can afford this medication without insurance. It's over $1500 for 30 days. For now I'm lucky my insurance covers it, but that could always change as corporate greed progresses.
