Thanks I Hate It @mikevago.bsky.social

The cruel irony here is that the media revolt against Biden happened because he *did* go against people at the top. He made billionaires pay taxes and enforced antitrust laws, and the billionaires who own the media revolted and threw all their weight behind the felon.

"The media" (meaning the people with the power to set what is covered and what isn't) and "people who don't vote" are non overlapping groups.

Biden and Garland showed disinterest in holding Trump accountable. They let all the momentum slip before they did anything, bought Trump time, and in doing so botched the most open and shut case of our lifetime.

The voters showed up and elected Biden to hold Trump accountable. Voters did their job. The voters showed up in force to protect women’s rights, stop endless wars, and get people universal healthcare when we elected Obama. Voters did their job. You blame voters when our leaders keep failing us.

That's not the issue at hand though lol The issue is the Biden administration didn't do the job they were voted in to do. Dealing with the plotters of a failed coup attempt is something that should have been a priority even just out of an instinct for self preservation and they didnt.

Yes. That part of the ACA was important. But someone assassinated a CEO operating under the rules of Obama’s signature bill and a significant part of the country was like, “yeah, I get where Luigi was coming from.” It is not affordable healthcare. It’s insurance subsidies.

A series of posts from a shitlib who is totally cool with genocide and rubbing the death of 65K women and children into the faces of people who support the lives of the Palestinian people. What does this have to do with Crypto? And how is Palestine now? I mean, lobby implies money and political/social power. That doesn't exist for Palestine here Hey, how is Palestine doing right now? Once again, how is Palestine doing right now?
