I'm not a lawyer, but I have seen people get part of a settlement that amounted to £100.00 or even less, but they had to sign up to the terms of the agreement to get it.

I'm probably even less of a lawyer than you are. My guess is we're agreeing not to sue the specific company paying us, but we will see.
