And there are so many cool vintage & antique machines out there that run circles around the new plastic machines. Clean and oil, some rewiring and a 1940s Singer 66 can punch through multiple layers of denim while that plastic Singer "Heavy Duty" machine weeps. Treadles are the best, though.

Wow! That’s really beautiful. I used my old cloth masks (as well as several donated from my local Buy Nothing Group) to make Barbie clothes. I used some additional donated fabric to make scrub caps
