Yet again, since the Civil Rights Act of 1964, white Americans voted for this, as white men & women have not given 50% or more of their vote to Democrats since that passage, while being a majority of the population. Black voters didn’t have a problem hearing the message or understanding reality.

Wow I’m curious how the campaign messaging changed ahead of 68. US ground combat in Vietnam began in 65, after that last white/dem surge

No campaign messaging can fix racism. It’s why everyone constantly calls out politicians saying “working class” when they clearly mean “white working class” to get WP who left over the CRA back. If we fundamentally change a system without addressing racism & bias, we just changed the front of it. 🤷‍♂️

End of the day, white people gotta talk to their white friends & family about politics & their racism instead of complaining about them all the time & then seeing them anyway without conflict. White voters are 60-75% of the voting populace. Other groups having lower turnout is an excuse tbh.

We call white women a swing bloc when they’ve voted this same way as white men for Republicans as a majority, just not to the same extreme. But a few % points over to Dems w/o even breaking 50% & that’s all they need to do to flip something blue & render the whining about other voting blocs moot.

You needed to talk to your family & friends & confront the racists & bigots you won’t ostracize from your circles & deal w/ your own racism. Bashing the Dem nominee 24/7 & crying about holding your nose for whatever policy you didn’t bother to read or listen to anyone about wasn’t the call.

You still need to talk to these people in your life whether they loudly back this racist administration, throw away their power to 3rd party cicadas, or sit out because they’re not “inspired” to vote for harm reduction & don’t care about millions losing healthcare thanks to the Republican budget.

And no, changing on foreign policy wouldn’t have magically won. There’s plenty of hard data & video breakdowns on this app you can find yourself that show it actually would’ve statistically hurt to change much at all. You just didn’t care about people overseas begging you not to give him power.

Your guilty conscience for not doing enough because you just couldn’t vote for that Black woman “you just didn’t like or relate to for reasons you can’t explain” or because you listened to some idiot podcaster who didn’t know her policies is because of you, not Garland, Biden, or anyone else.

So what are you doing to fix it? Are you finally having hard convos w/ friends & family members? Registering voters? Signing up to elect Dems? Educating people on actual Dem policies/actions? Or are you engaging in more voter suppression & pretending to be a victim because you’re an ignorant wuss?
