There were good points in the 2011 film. Jason Mamoa was a great Conan. Ron Perlman was excellent. The opening sequence with Kid Conan running through the woods with the Picts? I would have taken an entire film of that. Unfortunately, he devolved into CGI cheesy slopfest.
