We are being "governed" by the most psychologically damaged people, who've banded together to wreak untold mayhem on a civilized society that rejects them and their depravity.

What blows my mind is the complicity of the Supreme Court. Somehow they seem to be getting right in line with the unquestioned power of the executive branch! Of course the GOP has caved too.
A partially civilized society.
Yes, that is part of the problem: some human beings have not fully evolved and are functioning with reptilian brain systems.
Used to think that was hyperbole, not anymore. What to do with the 14 million who voted for these psychopaths??
Those voters are flawed human beings. They never developed the capacity to evolve into civilized people.
Ok. Got that What to do about them? Go to give them an alternative
I voted for Kamala AND Hillary, but do you think MAGA would???
This is a much over looked point - Trump is a Marvel comic villain made manifest - He has platformed his personality issues and governed by dint of them - The Dems had the power to nail Trump to the mast...but indulged in their own denial to everyones cost
The mess started when Mitch McConnell stole two Supreme Court seats from Democrats, Roberts presided over an impeachment trial where no documents or witnesses were permitted, a convicted felon was allowed to run for president and given immunity. Now tell me again how Dems are complicit.
Jack Smith indicted Trump on the most serious crime a president could commit, and he had the evidence to back it up, well more than a year before the election. John Roberts and the SCOTUS Six gave Trump a get-out-of-jail-card on no conceivable legitimate grounds. They're your villains.
They are villains, of course. But complicit Dems, Garland, and much of the so-called "liberal" media don't deserve a pass.
2 words: Merrick Garland
Two far more significant words: Mitch McConnell
I agree Garland could have done more in an attempt to hold Trump accountable. But Repubs had a majority on the Supreme Court 12 days after Trump took office when they stole Obama’s nomination. The Supremes gave Trump immunity in 2024. Don’t you think they would have given him immunity in 2020?
Of course. My problem is Garland and the Dems didn't even try.
Exactly
America is one fucked up place.
I blame it on the media for never calling Trump out on any of the ridiculous things he says or does.
The democrats are at fault here.. makes sense.. those democrats just can’t trust ‘em
Not at fault, but complicit by inaction.
