The contractors are done* with our kitchen remodel, although we still have to make the stained wood baseboards and casings. Trying to move back into the kitchen is weird. It’s a little like using an Airbnb kitchen.

Wow, our contractors finished yesterday too! The kitchen is done but we still need to finish doing some painting and wood trim in the living room (which got lumped in since it also needed new flooring and old water damage repaired). And I agree about moving and the air bnb.

This one hadn’t been remodeled since the house was built in 1976. But the asbestos-containing flooring started to crumble, so there was just no putting it off any more.
