Here’s the thing: I have a suspicion that Gavin Newsom is just Donald Trump in slicker packaging. Yes, sometimes he says the right things. But he doesn’t really give a damn about people, it’s always to benefit Gavin Newsom.

I think you're right. I would vote for him if I had to in a general election, but not in a primary.
