I like the idea of sticking pins and sharp things in it. I don't think it's water proof. Though a varnish coat would help with that.

On Nov 5th our village always has a giant bonfire, built over the previous month. It is always very carefully guarded during the final week to prevent premature ignition, but I wonder whether I could sneak in somehow?
