Then license the Bikes to help pay for the up keep up of the roads! Yes I ride a bicycle 4 times a week.

If more people cycled, roads would need less maintenance.

Perhaps but still if bikes are going to start closing roads down and people start driving less then there will be NO road maintenance or no new construction. Some one will have to shoulder the expenses and some of it should fall on bikers.
