Odd recipe, but I am open to new things, so please share....:)) (btw, thought the eggs was just an US 'problem', not?)

There was an egg shortage in 2023 in Russia and there were videos emerging where grandma's were lining up and complaining about this back then. US seems to be following these trends under Trump and the fact that Russia had this problem earlier made it such a funny coincidence in the US.

An assassination attempt was made on a poultry farm boss too in Russia because of the shortage and pootin panicked because of this shortage.

Wasn't there not (also) an even frenzier hunt & longer lines for sugar or flour? Even attacking shop employees when a new load arrived? (eggs are a much less suitable subject for such fights, or selfish overloaded carts....:)) Could have been WARS/COVID19 related though.

If I remember correctly the flour crisis was in 2023 too. 🧐

Pretty much yeah. 🤣 Just missing the baking soda but I guess russians do pancakes without such luxuries.

That's another Putin made problem. Ukraine is where they grow the wheat for flour. Ukraine during a war sold their wheat to the Middle East which they have been doing for decades.

And why was there an egg crisis ? Because farmers had to kill their flock because of bird flu which has also jumped to humans now. So now both countries have no mechanism to stop it because they have paid off idiots running those departments .

Btw, I once even tried (& surprisingly succeeded!....:)) in shifting from honey-glazed prawns to (dark)chocolate-glazed prawns (not a success) to white-chocolate-glazed prawns. Hence my interest....:))
