i think gen alpha will suffer the most from this administration if nothing else. it takes far more time to rebuild the sand castle than to knock it down

That’s what I been saying. when he’s out of office (tbh is hard to say since he seems to do whatever he wants with no issue), and we get someone else in: the damages will be too deep and will take a long time to fix, if possible at all. Let alone the bridges this ghoul burns with other countries
Like the cracks are gonna go bleed in deep. It sucks. I have hope we will do what we can to fix it in the long run but it’s definitely gonna be a hell of a long task with obstacles thrown in.
Frankly, I don’t even know if I WANT to live with how long it’ll take to regain all the stuff we already had before all this
It’s getting harder and harder to imagine that I’ll be around to see the U.S. recover and honestly I don’t know if I can live with that
Genuinely getting harder to keep going out of spite
I’ve been absolutely fuming at this fact. Either we’ll be really gone or really old by the time stuff’s gotten back into a decent state, imo anyways.
The only hope I have of that not being the case is that people like Zohran Mamdani getting elected and the current shitty dem party might get replaced with something that actually works over time. If he loses that election in November I don’t know what to do anymore.
Here’s hoping for the best!
Yeah, because if there’s anything other than that I don’t think I can keep going.
I think that's what their end goal is. It's to reform the youth to their image It genuinely is like George Orwell's 1984. I decided to listen to that book recently and damn near if it's not like the second to third chapter where the parents are scared of their own snitching unhinished kids
At this point, I think we just have to hope for the Streisand effect to carry us for long enough that we can claw back some degree of normalcy. The level of internet censorship that manages to fester will be a critical deciding factor in how the next few years play out
Wholeheartedly, I think we need to burn down the current ways of the government and build a new one where the working class is the one in charge of things.
I agree. If there’s any positive to this dismantling of government, it’ll be that it’ll be far easier to make a better one without the rotten roots of the previous one holding it back.
Alot of the working class supports this
Call me amoral, but it's been like this for so many years. We gotta do for what we've been doing and keep fighting
