As a political science major: Even if he were to have a cheeseburger heart attack tomorrow, JD Vance is even more of a puppet to big money and is not mentally addled by old age. There might be in-fighting for who gets top dog but that would only barely slow things down. Trump’s just a vessel atp imo

Like yeah I think there would be some people who’d try to usurp the throne so to speak (Don Jr, for one) but overall Congress Rs are in lock step with this admin. The oligarchs are *this* close to victory they’re not gonna let infighting ruin it *now* This was a project long before Trump

Basically I think if our *only* hope is that he dies soon, it’s already too late. Personally that’s how I feel, barring a supermajority of Congress has a Come to Jesus moment (lol) Also the longer he sticks around the more momentum they’re going to build, the more infrastructure they will create.

You have a point. I think the big thing giving ppl hope rn tho is that Trump’s big ham personality is what enables a lot of these big money guys to do whatever they want. When he’s out, I think there’s some hope that they’ll be more susceptible to pushback

Yeah, perhaps. I think JD Vance being more pliable will come with upsides too though (like being less inclined to give the game away and not being as capricious). At best Trump being out of the picture softens the ground beneath evil’s feet. Will still need mass mobilization which looks unlikely rn
