They told us to unfasten our seat belts while the plane refuels. I thought that was weird so I googled it. IT'S SO IF THERE'S A FIRE, WE CAN RUN OUT FASTER.

They also dim the cabin lights when you come into land so your eyes adjust to the dark in case you need to RUN OUT FASTER.
