Gloria has traveled to different worlds with a human friend who is a space pilot. They travel aboard a ship that looks like a dragonfly.

Gloria's horns are rounded on the tips. She keeps them unsharped because she doesn't want to stab someone by accident. When dragons fight each other, they swing their heads up from below and towards the softer underside of a rival dragon, hitting with their horns. Gloria isn't one to fight though.

As a juvenile, Gloria earned the nickname Bleppin because of the way her tongue would blep while she was thinking deeply (or thinking of nothing at all). Even as an adult she’s still called the nickname by some dragons.

Gloria loves hugs and cuddles. Sometimes she'll freely give kisses too. In dragon culture it's an expression of friendship. If you're kissed by a dragon, don't worry about saliva toxicity. The myths of deadly bacteria are false. They have very clean mouths.

Gloria's tidally locked homeworld didn't have a day and night cycle. The star was always just above the horizon, so when visiting Earth, Gloria was completely bewildered to see the sun move across the sky and then dissappear for many hours. It sometimes messes with her sense of direction.

She learned to speak verbally from the human and on top of that, she can communicate emotions. I might explain more about that later. But she can make any word or noise without a need for flexible lips. The sounds are created in her throat like a parrot (of course she's more intelligent than one).
