The gun HELPS, though, right? Nobody's taking out 50 people from 500" away with a POCKETKNIFE or a ROCK. And I definitely haven't seen any drag queens murdering a classroom full of kids with a copy of To Kill A Mockingbird either. We need to worry about the right things more.
Your exactly right. The truth is… right wingers, delusionals, mentally unstable, neonazis and the like are NOT going away. Ever. They will always be here, just like you and me. The ONE thing that has the potential to be controlled and reduced are guns. Taking away the object is the best option.
Right? When they say "guns aren't the problem, PEOPLE are" I'm always like "so . . . . why do you want to give the problem GUNS?" Places with stricter gun control DO have stabbing problems sometimes, it's true. But nobody's taking out a whole classroom with just a knife. Make murder less deadly!
Yep. Mental illness occurs everywhere. SSRI antidepressants are taken the world over (including by yourself truly). These shootings ONLY happen with regularity in the U.S. GOSH, I WONDER WHY...
