Speaking for myself, it's a matter of $. Taking time off work, waiting for warmer weather because I can't afford a hotel room, travel time. I AM going to Protest-I just want it to be a BIG Protest [worth it/REALLY Matters!!] Organization NEEDS to happen for this. I'll be there !!
They are counting on us having to work. I understand the different realms. It’s more concrete than divine or celestial. It’s like two different worlds going on right now. The collision is the slow down of work. I’m starting to see it. No projects in Q2 pipeline.
We lose our health insurance if we lose our jobs. We have no job protection in this country. We have a tiny amount of food assistance if we’re lucky enough to qualify. There’s no welfare in the US since 1996. Unemployment only if you aren’t at fault for job loss. That’s why.
I also think this is a big part of it.
That’s when I move out of country. If I have no SS and no job prospects - only savings and need health insurance- hello Colombia. Better water, air, food and better healthcare ranking higher than Canada and US. Have a plan.
At some point we'll all have nothing to lose. My friend is 75 and homeless now because Trump tanked her business. I lost all my income. My small business owning friends are facing listing their businesses and homes.
I’m truly sorry. This is a horrible time. I actually feel weird going to work watching everyone around already suffering the consequences. I know I can be next. I can open my door and feed as many people as possible while I’m able.
I agree! I’ll show up for a big organized impactful march that cannot be ignored. Who can organize this?

I don't have a car. I live in Rural MI & when my then 30yr old car died, I called it. I paid MORE for 6 mos. of PL/PD ins. than it cost to buy the car. So, I walk. I'm waiting for an ORGANIZED=this actually MEANS something Protest. Time off work/ride a bus to get there/stay outside overnight
