This might almost wake-up well-educated Americans. *Almost. Peter Thiel's longstanding bet, I think, is that well-educated Americans, aka R1 university graduates, in sum: corporate workers, their leaders, and investors, believe in nothing, so snuffing out the civic space of a democracy is easy.
