Go ask the parents if someone else’s “good thing” is worth their child’s life. What even could the good thing be? Perseverance, survival against the odds? For someone else? What kind of a god would do this to one family so another can… grow their faith by getting shot & living to pray again?
I can’t fathom how Christians swallow this line of logic and think it’s a good thing? This is your god? And you worship him? A god who has to kill one person’s kids so another can have a good thing happen? I just don’t get it.
He did not cause the shooting. He gave us free will. He can just bring good from the bad that was caused by someone choosing to do wrong
God didn't cause this tragedy. He gave humans free will and respects it, the shooter used his free will to commit the attack. Now God can take the bad thing that came about from someone's free will and bring good from it.
