And 94% of animal tested products fail human trials… If animals are similar to us, then they should have the same rights as us. If they're not similar to us, then what value is there of testing on them? The answer in either scenario is that “animal tests must be banned”.
Several chemicals dangerous to humans are harmless to other animals and vice versa. Aspirin is toxic to cats, chocolate toxic cats to dogs, a Sydney Funnelweb spider's bite can be fatal to humans but is harmless to cats and dogs etc etc.

True, which is why it’s so daft to experiment on animals and think we can extrapolate the results to effect in humans.
